Omar Bolaji Gambari Prays for Peace in Kwara, Condoles Eruku CAC Attack Victims

Omar Bolaji Gambari, a gubernatorial aspirant in Kwara State, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic attack on members of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke Isegun, in Eruku community, Ekiti Local Government Area of the state.

In a heartfelt condolence message, Gambari described the incident as “heartbreaking and unacceptable,” stressing that no community should have to live in fear or experience violence.

He extended his sympathies to the bereaved families, the injured, and all residents of Eruku affected by the attack, acknowledging the emotional trauma the community is currently facing.

He also commiserated with traditional rulers, religious leaders, and stakeholders within the area.

Gambari called for strengthened security measures and a renewed commitment from authorities to safeguard vulnerable communities across Kwara.

He emphasized the need for heightened vigilance and coordinated security operations to prevent similar incidents.

“As we mourn with Eruku, I also pray for the peace and protection of Kwara State,” he said, urging residents to remain calm as security agencies work to restore normalcy.

He prayed for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives and for divine comfort for their families.

He also prayed for the safe return of those who were kidnapped during the attack, asking God to protect them and reunite them with their loved ones safely.
