Kwara to Hold Stakeholders’ Meeting on Renewed Hope Ward Development Programme Saturday

The Kwara State Government will on Saturday, January 17, 2026, host a stakeholders’ engagement on the Renewed Hope Ward Development Programme as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots development across the state.

The meeting, scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., will take place at the Renewed Hope Secretariat, Sayomi Road, along Fate Road, G.R.A., Ilorin, according to organisers.

Community leaders, party stakeholders and other interest groups are expected to participate in the engagement, which aims to create awareness about the objectives of the ward-based initiative and gather inputs on effective implementation strategies.

Officials said the programme is designed to ensure that development interventions are community-driven and tailored to the specific needs of wards across the state.

The initiative aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and complements the development policies of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, which prioritise inclusive growth and grassroots impact.

Organisers added that the engagement will provide a platform for open dialogue, collaboration and feedback, as the state government continues efforts to deepen development at the ward level.
