The Inspector-General of Police, , has urged a Federal High Court in Abuja to dismiss a suit filed by former Kaduna State governor, , challenging the search of his residence in the Federal Capital Territory.
El-Rufai had filed the enforcement suit following a search conducted at his Abuja residence by the on February 19.
In his response before the court, the IGP argued that the operation was carried out based on a valid search warrant and in line with due process.
He therefore asked the court to dismiss the suit, maintaining that the action of law enforcement agencies in the matter was lawful.
