In a statement, Shittu described his journey in public service—from Special Assistant on Geographic Information Systems to Pioneer Executive Chairman of KW-GIS and later Senior Special Assistant on KWGIS—as a period of honour, learning, and impactful service.
He said the opportunity to contribute to land administration, planning, and institutional reforms in the state remains a privilege, noting that the experience has deepened his understanding of governance and strengthened his commitment to public service.
Shittu also appreciated the KW-GIS team, partners, and residents of the state for their support, stating that their collaboration made the achievements recorded during his tenure possible.
He reaffirmed his dedication to serving the people, stressing that public service is about purpose rather than position, while pledging to continue contributing to the development and advancement of the state.
