A coalition under the platform of Kwara Youth for Good Governance has declared support for ahead of the 2027 governorship election in .
The group, comprising youths drawn from the 16 local government areas of the state, also endorsed President for a second term, citing the need for continuity and stability at the national level.
In a communiqué signed by its convener, , the group said it believes in the continuity of good governance and ongoing developmental strides in the state.
The youths noted that Kwara requires leadership that is competent, experienced, accessible and people-driven, stressing the importance of alignment with the federal government to maximise development impact.
They said their endorsement of Sanni followed wide consultations, describing him as a leader with the capacity and character to sustain progress and promote inclusive governance.
The group added that it is ready to mobilise support across all local government areas to ensure the emergence of leadership that prioritises unity, inclusion and people-centred development.
