A multidisciplinary artist Jubril Abdulsalam Babatunde, popularly known as “Adisartz,” has created a breathtaking pencil portrait of Alhaji Kamorudeen Yusuf Olawale, Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Special Duties.
The Kwara-born artist, who has never met the president aide personally, was moved to create the masterpiece after learning about Alhaji Kamorudeen’s transformative youth empowerment initiatives and commitment to delivering President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope mandates across Nigeria.
In a post-creation interview, Adisartz opened up about the driving force behind his latest artistic endeavour, where he re revealed the impact of witnessing exemplary leadership from afar.
“I have never had the privilege of meeting Alhaji Kamorudeen Yusuf Olawale in person, but his works speak louder than any introduction could. When I came across his giant strides in youth empowerment and educational support programmes for average Nigerians, I knew I had to honor such dedication through my art,” Adisartz explained.
The talented artist said Kamorudeen is a public servant who understands that true leadership is about lifting others up.

“His commitment to youth development and educational accessibility resonates deeply with me as a young Nigerian artist trying to make a difference through creative expression,” Adisartz said.
Adisartz emphasized that the portrait represents more than just artistic skill – it symbolizes appreciation for genuine leader and youth advocate.
“Every stroke of my pencil was inspired by stories of young Nigerians whose lives have been transformed through his programmes. This portrait is my way of saying ‘thank you’ to a leader who truly embodies the spirit of service.”
The artist also revealed that he spent countless hours perfecting the portrait, studying photographs and researching Alhaji Kamorudeen’s achievements to ensure the artwork captured not just his physical likeness, but the essence of his character and dedication to public service.

“Art has the power to immortalize moments and honour greatness. Through this portrait, I wanted to celebrate a man who may not always be in the spotlight, but whose impact on Nigerian youth is undeniable,” Adisartz noted.
Speaking on the broader implications of his work, Adisartz highlighted the economic opportunities inherent in Nigeria’s artistic ecosystem
“The creative industry is a goldmine waiting to be fully explored. Portrait artistry alone can generate substantial income for talented individuals while preserving our cultural heritage and celebrating our heroes.”
He explained that commissioned artworks, exhibitions, and digital art sales represent viable economic pathways for Nigerian youth.

“When I create pieces like this portrait of Alhaji Kamorudeen, I’m not just expressing admiration – I’m demonstrating the commercial viability of artistic skills. Art can be both passion and profession.”
The multidisciplinary artist advocates for increased support for the creative sector, noting that artistic works contribute significantly to cultural documentation, tourism, and international representation of Nigerian excellence.
Adisartz expressed hope that his tribute would reach Alhaji Kamorudeen and serve as encouragement for continued youth-focused initiatives.
“If this humble artistic tribute can bring a smile to his face or motivate him to continue his excellent work, then every hour I spent creating it was worthwhile.”
The artist also called on other notable Nigerians and public servants to recognize the power of art in celebrating positive leadership.
“My ultimate goal is to use art as a bridge – connecting inspiring leaders with the people they serve, celebrating achievements that might otherwise go unnoticed, and creating visual narratives that future generations can learn from,” he concluded.
