Another Kwara Monarch Confers Bobaselu Title on Solace

Less than a month after receiving the Aare Bobajiroro of Oko-Irese title, Akeweje Olayinka Fafoluyi (Solace), Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has again been honoured with a traditional title—this time as the Bobaselu of Oro Kingdom.

The Oloro of Oro Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatolye Titiloye, announced the conferment in a formal letter dated October 31, 2025. The coronation will take place on December 24, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the New Palace of the Oloro of Oro Kingdom, coinciding with the 2025 Oro Day celebration.

According to the monarch, the honour recognises Akeweje’s “remarkable contributions to the development of Kwara State,” as well as his dedication to the progress of Irepodun Local Government and Nigeria at large.

Oro Kingdom—one of Kwara’s largest and most prominent traditional territories—comprises 11 towns, each led by a Baale alongside other chiefs.

This latest recognition further highlights Solace’s rising influence across traditional institutions in the state. His work in digital governance, youth empowerment, and community-focused initiatives continues to strengthen his reputation as a bridge between government and the grassroots.
