Governor AbdulRazaq’s Aide, Olayinka Fafoluyi, Named NIJ’s Overall Best Graduating Student, Earns MPA from UNILORIN

Fafoluyi Olayinka Michael, Senior Special Assistant to Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on New Media, has been named the Overall Best Graduating Student in Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Print Journalism at the 7th Convocation of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), held in Ogba, Lagos.

The announcement was made during the ceremony, where Fafoluyi received a commemorative plaque presented by former Ogun State Governor, Chief Olusegun Osoba, in recognition of his exceptional academic performance.

A passionate journalist known by the moniker ‘Solace’, Fafoluyi previously runs a news platform dedicated to reporting local and global human-interest stories. His commitment to the media landscape has earned him a reputation for bold, people-centred storytelling.

In a separate academic milestone, Fafoluyi recently earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Ilorin. The University Senate approved the award following a recommendation from the Board of Postgraduate School on April 3, 2025.

The two academic honours, achieved at two of Nigeria’s leading institutions, mark a momentous step in Fafoluyi’s pursuit of professional growth and public service excellence.

His achievements have sparked congratulations from peers and public officials across the country, with many praising his dedication to continuous learning while actively serving in government.
