Hajj 2025: Another 415 Kwara Pilgrims Airlifted to Saudi Arabia

A second batch of 415 Kwara State pilgrims departed for Saudi Arabia this afternoon to participate in the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, bringing the total number of airlifted pilgrims from the state to 975.

Addressing the pilgrims before departure, the State Amirul-Hajj and Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Barr. Ismail Bolaji Yahaya Muhammed Atoloye Alebiosu, urged them to be exemplary representatives of Kwara while in the Holy Land. He also commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for ensuring the pilgrims’ comfort and safety.

The Special Adviser on Religion (Islamic Affairs), Alhaji Ibrahim Dan-Maigoro, led the group. The Max Airline flight took off from Babatunde Idi-Agbon International Airport, Ilorin, at 1:20 pm.
