Kwara Sets July 26 for Statewide Common Entrance Exam

The Kwara State Government has fixed Saturday, July 26, 2025, for the Common Entrance (Placement) Examination into Junior Secondary Schools across the state’s 16 Local Government Areas.

This was announced by the Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, on Wednesday at the Ministry’s headquarters in Ilorin. He confirmed that all necessary arrangements have been finalized to ensure a smooth and hitch-free examination.

Dr. Olohungbebe stated that the exam will begin at 8:00 a.m. across designated centres and urged pupils, parents, and school administrators to strictly adhere to all examination guidelines.

He expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the full sponsorship of the exam and issued a stern warning against the collection of illegal fees, stating that any principal or headteacher found guilty will face disciplinary action.
