Kwara-born multidisciplinary artist, Jubril Abdulsalam Babatunde, popularly known as “Adisartz,” has formally met with Alhaji Kamorudeen Yusuf Olawale, Personal Assistant to President Tinubu on Special Duties, where he presented a breathtaking pencil and charcoal portrait in Abuja.
The Kwara-born artist’s journey to this momentous occasion began with deep admiration for Alhaji Kamorudeen’s transformative youth empowerment initiatives.
Speaking during the commissioning, Adisartz reflected on his motivation for creating the masterpiece.
“I have never had the privilege of meeting Alhaji Kamorudeen Yusuf Olawale in person before today, but his works speak louder than any introduction could. When I came across his giant strides in youth empowerment and educational support programmes for average Nigerians, I knew I had to honor such dedication through my art,” Adisartz explained.
The artist emphasized that every stroke of his pencil was inspired by stories of young Nigerians whose lives have been transformed through Alhaji Kamorudeen’s programmes.
“This portrait is my way of saying ‘thank you’ to a leader who truly embodies the spirit of service,” he added.

He also added, “I am deeply moved by this honor, especially considering that Alhaji Kamorudeen didn’t know me from Adam. His willingness to invite me to his residence and officially commission this work speaks volumes about his character and commitment to supporting Nigerian talent.”
As part of his special way of nurturing creativity, Alhaji Kamorudeen announced his commitment to supporting the expansion of Adisartz’s studio in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Visibly moved by this generous gesture, Adisartz stated, “This kind support for expanding my studio means everything to me and the creative community. It will enable me to train more young Nigerians in the arts and contribute to the growth of our creative economy.”
In his acceptance address, Alhaji Kamorudeen dedicated the commissioned artwork to the memory of his late mother.
“This beautiful artwork will serve as a permanent reminder of the values my late mother instilled in me. She taught me the importance of service, compassion, and lifting others as we climb. Every time I look at this portrait, I will remember her lessons and be inspired to continue serving our great nation,” Kamorudeen explained.

The top presidential aide also drew a powerful connection between supporting artistic talent and President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, emphasizing how such initiatives align with the administration’s commitment to youth development and economic diversification.
“Just as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision encompasses every aspect of Nigerian development, supporting our creative talents is crucial to building the Nigeria of our dreams. Young artists like Adisartz represent the future of our creative economy and cultural heritage preservation,” he asserted.
The commissioning of the artwork was facilitated by Dr. Abdullateef Sulaiman, Head, Biochemistry Department, Crescent University, Abeokuta. He praised the exceptional talent displayed by Adisartz and urged Alhaji Kamorudeen to continue his philanthropic endeavors for the betterment of Nigeria.
