A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Kwara State, Hon. AbdulMutalib Tade Shittu, has congratulated the newly elected executives of the party in Offa Local Government Area following the successful conduct of the 2026 APC Local Government Congress.
The new executives emerged at the congress held at the Offa Local Government Legislative Chamber on Saturday, where party members and stakeholders from across the council participated in the exercise.
In a congratulatory message, Tade described the peaceful conduct of the congress and emergence of the new leadership as a demonstration of unity and maturity within the party in Offa.
He commended party leaders and members for their commitment to strengthening the APC’s structure at the grassroots and for ensuring that the process was conducted in line with the party’s guidelines.
Tade urged the newly elected executives, led by the Chairman, Alhaji Nasiru Adekunle Moshood, to see their emergence as a call to service and an opportunity to further consolidate the party’s strength in Offa.
He charged them to promote unity, inclusiveness and transparency in the discharge of their responsibilities, noting that internal cohesion remains vital to the continued success of the APC in the local government and Kwara State at large.
According to him, the new executives must work collectively with party stakeholders, elders, youths and women groups to sustain the party’s dominance and mobilise support ahead of future political engagements.
Tade also reiterated his commitment to supporting the party’s programmes and initiatives in Offa, expressing confidence that the new leadership would build on the achievements of the previous years and deliver effective grassroots coordination.
He prayed for a successful and impactful tenure for the new executives and called on party members to rally round them to ensure the continued growth and progress of the APC in Offa Local Government Area.
