The newly sworn-in Kwara State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Amina Ahmed El-Imam has pledged to ensure the effective implementation of policies that would improve the health sector and enhance the health conditions of Kwarans.
Dr El-Imam made the pledge when she assumed office yesterday shortly after her inauguration. She appreciated the Executive Governor for finding her worthy to serve the good people of Kwara State in this capacity.
Dr. El-Imam additionally expressed her desire to work assiduously towards the continuation of the lofty programs of His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
In her address, Dr. El-Imam called for the cooperation of the entire workforce of the Ministry in order to achieve the singular objective of improving the health sector in line with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s vision.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Dr. Abubakar Olayiwola Ayinla assured her of the maximum support and cooperation of management and other members of staff in order to actualize her mandate.
Dr. El-Imam commended the management and staff for their resilient efforts geared towards the progress of the Ministry, stating that the success of the state’s health sector lies in their cooperation.
