In a bold move to strengthen agricultural productivity and improve food security, the MOK Foundation has kicked off its 2025 empowerment drive by distributing essential farm inputs to farmers in Lafiagi, Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Farmers in the Lafiagi Emirate received vital resources including agrochemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, and sprayers—tools aimed at boosting crop yields and promoting sustainable farming practices across the region.
Speaking on the initiative, Sani Alhaji, the Kwara North Coordinator of the MOK Foundation, emphasized that the distribution will cover all five local government areas in Kwara North, a region known for its agrarian communities.
“This support will enable our farmers to control pests and diseases more effectively, leading to higher productivity and better livelihoods,” he noted.
The MOK Foundation’s continued investment in agriculture underscores its commitment to empowering rural communities and fostering long-term growth in Kwara State’s agricultural sector.
