Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the conduct of the 2025 promotion examination for all staff of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) who are due for elevation this year.
The Chairman of the Commission, Mallam Bello Tauheed Abubakar, made this known in Ilorin on Monday while addressing management staff of the Commission in his office.
Abubakar described the governor’s approval as another demonstration of his consistent commitment to the welfare and professional growth of teachers across the state.
He recalled that since assuming office in 2019, Governor AbdulRazaq had ensured the cash-backing of all pending and subsequent staff promotions covering the years 2015, 2016, 2017, and continuously up to 2024.
“The governor’s unwavering support for teachers’ welfare remains a driving force behind the improved morale and performance within the education sector,” Abubakar said.
He urged TESCOM staff to remain diligent and dedicated to their duties to sustain effective service delivery in the state’s education system.
The Chairman assured that the examination date and related modalities would be communicated in due course, adding that the present administration would continue to prioritize teacher motivation and professional development.
