Every 15th of November comes with a familiar warmth for me — an overwhelming outpouring of calls, messages, prayers, and heartfelt goodwill. Yesterday’s birthday was no different. I took my time to read through every testimony, prayer, and piece of advice sent to me. Your words filled me with deep gratitude and reaffirmed the bond we share as a community.
To be celebrated by everyday citizens as well as respected leaders is a privilege I do not take for granted. It reflects the value of sincerity, humility, and genuine service — principles I strive to uphold.
My heartfelt appreciation goes to my immediate family and the entire MOK Foundation team. I extend special gratitude to Hajia Farida Dankaka, Dr. Olayiwola Lukman Mustapha, Hon. Hafiz Ibrahim Kawu (PenCom Commissioner), Hon. Saheed Popoola, and Hon. Seun Oguniyi. To colleagues, associates, fellow politicians, technocrats, and everyone who reached out in one way or another — thank you. Your love and prayers mean more than words can express. May Almighty Allah preserve us all.
To the underprivileged members of our community, please know that you remain at the heart of everything we do. I am committed to continuing the work of uplifting lives, empowering families, and ensuring that our collective efforts create lasting impact.
With gratitude and sincerity,
Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK)
Founder, MOK Foundation.
