OBG’s Statewide LGA Tour Reflects the Leadership Kwara Truly Needs – By Issa Lukman Oluwadare

In my personal assessment, what Omar Bolaji Gambari (OBG) is currently doing across Kwara State deserves genuine recognition. At a time when many politicians only reconnect with the people during election periods, OBG has embarked on a deliberate tour of all 16 Local Government Areas—meeting party elders, stakeholders, youths, and community members face-to-face to share his vision and seek their support.

This, to me, represents the kind of politics Kwara has long hoped for: politics rooted in presence, humility, and real engagement. Everywhere he goes, the warm reception he receives is a testament to how much people appreciate his openness and sincerity. He is not merely speaking about leadership; he is exemplifying it.

What truly distinguishes OBG is his commitment to physical engagement rather than relying on proxies or social media noise. He listens directly to the concerns of communities and assures them of a leadership style built on inclusion, development, and respect.

From Kwara North to Central and down to the southern region, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Many stakeholders describe him as a fresh and unifying force—someone who understands the issues and is genuinely prepared to provide solutions.

Personally, I believe any politician willing to visit all 16 LGAs for direct engagement has both the courage and the heart required for leadership. OBG’s approach reflects readiness, seriousness, and a deep passion for public service.

As he continues these statewide consultations, one thing is becoming increasingly clear: Omar Bolaji Gambari is steadily positioning himself as a leader capable of restoring confidence, inspiring unity, and giving Kwara the purposeful direction it truly deserves.

And sincerely, I think more people should pay close attention. Leaders like this do not emerge often.
