ANCOPSS hails MOK Foundation over 1,000 JAMB, 300 WAEC scholarships in Kwara

The All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS), Oyun Branch, has commended the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation for awarding massive education scholarships to indigent and brilliant students across Kwara State.

In a letter dated January 29, 2026, and signed by the Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Kazeem Kadiri, and the Zonal Secretary, Mrs Muibat Hamzat, ANCOPSS expressed gratitude to the foundation for rolling out 1,000 JAMB scholarships and 300 WAEC scholarships for prospective 2026 candidates in the state.

According to the association, Oyun Zone benefited from the intervention with 43 WAEC slots and 50 JAMB slots, describing the gesture as timely and impactful in easing the financial burden of examination registration on parents and guardians.

The principals noted that the intervention has helped address challenges faced by students from less-privileged backgrounds and has boosted access to education in the zone.

“Your dedication and commitment to educational and human capital development are highly appreciated. Your kindness and compassion have made a lasting positive impact on human lives,” the letter read in part.

ANCOPSS further praised the foundation for its consistent humanitarian efforts beyond education, adding that the initiative reflects a strong commitment to investing in the present and future of young people.

The association also appealed for continued educational and social support for secondary schools in the area, while praying for sustained growth and strength for the foundation to continue its interventions.

The MOK Foundation has in recent weeks expanded its scholarship programme across Kwara State as part of its broader education support drive targeted at reducing financial barriers to learning and promoting academic excellence.
