Haske hails Tinubu for appointing two Adamawa indigenes as ambassadors

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Abdulrahman Haske, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing two indigenes of the state as ambassadors.

Haske, who is also a governorship aspirant in the state, described the appointments as a demonstration of the President’s commitment to inclusiveness and recognition of competent Nigerians across the country.

President Tinubu had on March 6 approved the deployment of 65 ambassadors whose nominations were earlier confirmed by the Senate in December 2025, assigning them to various countries as Nigeria’s representatives abroad.

Reacting to the development, Haske said the appointments were a source of pride for Adamawa State and would further strengthen the state’s representation in Nigeria’s diplomatic service.

He noted that the recognition of Adamawa indigenes in key national positions would inspire more citizens of the state to contribute meaningfully to national development.

The APC chieftain also urged the newly appointed ambassadors to justify the confidence reposed in them by promoting Nigeria’s interests and strengthening diplomatic relations with their host countries.

Haske further commended the President for what he described as his commitment to building a government that reflects the diversity and aspirations of Nigerians.
