A leading aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, Hon. Gbenga Oyekunle Power, has concluded his consultative tour with stakeholders in Ifelodun Local Government Area.
The engagement, held on Wednesday at Igbomina House, Ganmo, marked the final leg of his outreach across the three LGAs, following earlier meetings in Offa and Oyun.
Addressing party leaders and stakeholders at the event, Power reiterated his commitment to serve, noting that his previous attempts to represent the constituency have not diminished his passion.

“I have contested over the years, and though the breakthrough hasn’t come yet, it has never weakened my passion to serve. I am here to reinforce that commitment and protect your interests when elected,” he said.
The session, officiated by broadcaster Olaniyi Aweda Jigin, attracted prominent political, traditional and community leaders, including the Elese of Igbaja, HRH Oba Ahmed Awuni Babalola Arepo III.
The monarch commended the aspirant’s consistency and dedication, describing his ambition as a reflection of genuine love for service, while urging stakeholders to support him.

Also speaking, Ifelodun LG Vice Chairperson, Hon. Nike Ajibola, and former council chairman, Dr. Babatunde Salami, praised Power’s grassroots engagement and philanthropic record, encouraging him to sustain the momentum.
Other stakeholders, including Chief Peter Olorunnisola (SAN), lauded his longstanding contributions to community development, noting that his impact has been evident even without holding public office.
The meeting also observed a minute of silence in honour of the late mother of Ifelodun LG Chairman, Haji Femi Yusuf.

The visit to Ganmo effectively completes Power’s consultations across Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun LGAs, consolidating his support base ahead of the 2027 polls.
The event ended with the announcement of a financial support package for the local party structure, reinforcing his message that the legislative mandate is a collective responsibility.
