MOK Foundation has congratulated the Olusin of Ijara-Isin, Oba Ajibola Ademola Julius Iluyomade I (the Lion King), on his elevation to the status of a first-class traditional ruler in Kwara State.
In a statement, the founder of the foundation, Alhaji Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode described the elevation as a well-deserved recognition of the monarch’s dedication to community development, cultural preservation and leadership.
He noted that the elevation has brought joy and renewed hope to the people of Ijara-Isin, describing the development as a milestone that would further strengthen unity and progress in the community.
The foundation commended the Kwara State Government for honouring the monarch, stating that the decision reflects the administration’s commitment to strengthening traditional institutions.
“MOK Foundation celebrates with the people of Ijara-Isin on this historic achievement. This elevation is not just a title, but a reflection of service, humility and commitment to the people,” the statement read.
He expressed confidence that the monarch would continue to promote peace, development and inclusiveness, while upholding the rich cultural heritage of the kingdom.
The foundation also prayed for wisdom, good health and a successful reign for the Olusin as he assumes the new status.
