A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Toba Oloyede, has declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Isin, Irepodun, Oke-Ero and Ekiti Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
Oloyede, who made the declaration in a detailed statement, said his ambition is rooted in a desire to give back to his people, describing himself as “a child of the soil” committed to driving development across the constituency.
He commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for ongoing reforms, pledging to leverage their policies and programmes to attract federal projects and opportunities to the constituency.
The aspirant emphasised the need for competence over zoning, assuring constituents of equitable distribution of resources, improved infrastructure, youth empowerment, healthcare access and enhanced security across the four local government areas.
He also promised transparent leadership, grassroots engagement and effective representation, urging stakeholders to support his aspiration to reposition the constituency for sustainable growth and national relevance.
