Small-Scale Trader Hails MOK Foundation for Lifeline Support

A small-scale trader, Mrs. Ahmed Memunat, has expressed deep appreciation to the founder of the MOK Foundation, Alhaji Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, for extending financial support that helped revive her business after months of collapse.

Memunat, who had struggled to keep her trading venture afloat due to the biting economic hardship, disclosed that a cash donation of ₦300,000 from the foundation came as a turning point when she had almost lost hope.

“I have never met Alhaji Muhydeen personally, but I admired him from the stories I heard and his messages on the radio,” she said. “When I reached out through one of his associates, I never imagined he would respond so swiftly. Within days, I received support that has now restored my livelihood.”

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Memunat described the intervention as life-saving. “The assistance came at a time when I had completely lost hope. It not only revived my business but also restored my faith in humanity. I pray Allah continues to protect his family and business,” she added.

The trader emphasized that the foundation’s gesture has given her a fresh start and renewed confidence to rebuild her life. “At least for now, I have something to live on,” she said, her voice filled with emotion.

The MOK Foundation, established in 2023, has been at the forefront of community development initiatives in education, healthcare, agriculture, and empowerment across Kwara State.
