Gubernatorial aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Omar Bolaji Gambari (OBG), has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the celebration of his 30th Coronation Anniversary.
In a statement issued to the media, OBG described the milestone as a testament to the Emir’s enduring leadership, wisdom, and selfless commitment to the welfare of the people of Ilorin and Kwara State at large.
He noted that the Emir’s three-decade reign has brought peace, stability, and unity to the Ilorin Emirate, while his counsel and fatherly guidance have continued to inspire leaders, community stakeholders, and the youth.
OBG praised the Emir for his unwavering contributions to education, healthcare, and community development, saying the anniversary represents a celebration of his lasting impact on governance and humanity.
He also commended the Emirate for fostering social harmony and cultural preservation, which, he said, remain crucial to the state’s growth and cohesion.
While praying for the Emir’s continued health and divine guidance, OBG described him as “a beacon of peace and a symbol of wise, servant leadership.”
“The 30th anniversary of Your Royal Highness’s coronation is not just a celebration of time but of your remarkable service, humility, and dedication to the progress of your people,” OBG added.
