ABS Kwara Movement backs Adisa-Jaji for Ilorin North West ahead of 2027

A political group in Kwara State, ABS Kwara Movement, has endorsed Hon. Azeez Adisa-Jaji as its preferred candidate for the Ilorin North West State Constituency seat ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The group, which aligns with the political ideology of former Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, announced the endorsement on Friday following a consultative meeting with its leadership and stakeholders from the constituency.

In a statement issued by the movement’s State Publicity Secretary, Comrade Babaita Idris Olalekan, the organisation said the decision followed extensive consultations and assessment of the political landscape in Ilorin North West.

According to the group, Adisa-Jaji possesses the competence, integrity and grassroots connection required to effectively represent the people and attract development to the constituency.

“The endorsement reflects our commitment to identifying candidates with the capacity, vision and dedication to deliver quality representation and sustainable development to the people,” the statement read.

The movement described Adisa-Jaji as a politician who embodies service, community engagement and a strong understanding of the legislative process.

Olalekan added that the endorsement was a product of wide consultations with party stakeholders and members of the movement across the constituency.

“Our movement is built on the philosophy of collective progress and the political ideals championed by our leader, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, which prioritise the welfare of the common man,” he said.

“After careful review and consultations with our members and leaders in Ilorin North West, we are convinced that Hon. Azeez Adisa-Jaji is best suited to fly the Peoples Democratic Party flag in the 2027 elections.”

The group called on members of the Peoples Democratic Party and supporters of the movement across the state to unite behind the candidate to ensure victory in the election.

ABS Kwara Movement also reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the party’s grassroots structures across the 16 local government areas and 193 wards in the state ahead of the 2027 polls.
