Youths from the five local government areas of Kwara North Senatorial District have endorsed Engr. , popularly known as Araba, for the 2027 governorship election.
The endorsement was announced at a gathering held at the Nupe Emirate Council meeting point, where young people from Edu, Moro, Kaiama, Baruten, and Patigi local government areas converged to declare their support.
Speaking on behalf of the group, said the decision followed wide consultations among youth groups across the district.
He noted that Sanni’s track record, competence, and commitment to youth development informed their position.
“We believe Engr. Femi Sanni possesses the capacity to provide purposeful and inclusive leadership for Kwara State,” Alfa said, adding that the endorsement reflects the desire for leadership that understands the needs of young people and local communities.
Participants at the event reiterated their commitment to mobilising support for the aspirant across the district as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections intensify.
Observers say the endorsement signals growing grassroots momentum for Sanni’s ambition, particularly among young voters in Kwara North.
