Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the 30th anniversary of his ascension to the throne of Sheikh Alimi.
In a statement issued in Ilorin, the Governor described the Emir’s three-decade reign as a period of peace, transformation, and steady progress for the Ilorin Emirate, noting that the city has become one of Nigeria’s most peaceful and orderly urban centres under his leadership.
Governor AbdulRazaq commended the Emir for his calmness, wisdom, and unwavering support for good governance, infrastructural renewal, and sociocultural development across the state.
“His Royal Highness, a retired senior judge, is widely respected for his love for law and order, reflecting his lifelong commitment to democracy, justice, and development,” the Governor stated.
While felicitating with the royal father, Governor AbdulRazaq prayed to Almighty Allah to grant him continued good health, divine guidance, and a long, peaceful reign on the throne of his forebears.
