ADC Youths Protest in Lagos, Demand Amupitan’s Resignation

Youths of the (ADC) on Monday staged a protest at the Lagos office of the (INEC) in , calling for the resignation of the party’s national chairman, .

The demonstrators carried placards with inscriptions such as “ADC Is Not For Sale,” “Amupitan Is Already Compromised,” and “Democracy is Dialogue, Not Monologue,” as they voiced dissatisfaction with the party’s leadership.

The protest was led by the party’s National Deputy Youth Leader, , and was monitored by security operatives to maintain order.

Earlier, the ADC National Youth Leader, , had announced the demonstrations in a post on X, stating that protests would take place in Lagos and Ogun under the tag “Operation Occupy INEC.”

The protest reflects growing internal tensions within the party, with youths demanding accountability and reforms in its leadership structure.
