NANS Kwara extends ACME Magazine submission deadline, seeks adverts, sponsorship

The Editorial Committee of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Committee (JCC), Kwara State Axis, has extended the deadline for submissions to the 7th edition of the NANS Kwara ACME Magazine to July 13, 2026.

The committee said the extension followed numerous requests from prospective contributors seeking additional time to complete their articles.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the committee disclosed that it had so far received 37 articles from students, researchers, and contributors across tertiary institutions in Kwara State, describing the response as a testament to the intellectual capacity and creativity of students.

It urged interested contributors who are yet to submit their manuscripts to take advantage of the extension, noting that articles should be original, unpublished, and focus on education, security, business, governance, sports, or politics.

The committee also announced that preparations were underway for the official unveiling of the magazine during the inauguration of the new NANS Kwara leadership led by Comrade Soliu Ismail Aloba.

It further invited corporate organisations, educational institutions, business owners, public office holders, and other stakeholders to advertise in or sponsor the publication, describing the magazine as a platform for reaching thousands of students and stakeholders across Kwara State and beyond.

According to the committee, the publication remains committed to promoting scholarship, innovation, leadership, and intellectual excellence within the students’ movement.
