The Ekiti Youth Solidarity Movement has congratulated Hon. Chief Olasumbo Florence Oyeyemi on her emergence as a political candidate and her appointment as Co-Coordinator of the Kwara State APC Tinubu Torch Bearers.
In a statement jointly signed by its President, Comrade Ogunbiyi Victor Babatope, and Secretary, Princess Opeyemi Ishola, the group described the development as a recognition of Oyeyemi’s contributions to grassroots mobilisation, community development, and public service.
The movement said Oyeyemi had over the years distinguished herself through accessibility, commitment to community initiatives, and active engagement with people across different backgrounds.
It expressed confidence that she would discharge the responsibilities of her new office with dedication, professionalism, and integrity.
The group also noted that her appointment would encourage greater participation of women and young people in public leadership, urging them to embrace lives of service, integrity, and constructive civic engagement.
While reaffirming its commitment to peace, unity, and community development, the Ekiti Youth Solidarity Movement prayed for wisdom, strength, and good health for Oyeyemi as she assumes her new responsibilities.
