Kwara Federation Cup Secures ₦50m Boost from Stefolga, Flow FM

The Kwara State Football Association has secured a ₦50 million, three-year sponsorship deal for the Federation Cup from and , in a move aimed at strengthening grassroots football development in .

The agreement was formalised at a signing ceremony held at Flow FM in , drawing key stakeholders in the football community and signalling renewed efforts to revitalise one of the state’s longstanding football competitions.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Stefolga and Flow FM, , commended Governor , the FA leadership, and participating teams for their commitment to football development, describing the sponsorship as a starting point for greater investments in the sport.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the FA, , praised Sanni’s contributions to the state’s football growth, citing his role in the victory by and support for ongoing stadium renovation projects.

Thuraya noted that the sponsorship would significantly improve the organisation and competitiveness of the Federation Cup, urging clubs across the state to take advantage of the registration window and participate actively.

He also challenged to defend their title, adding that the initiative would enhance talent discovery and boost the state’s profile in Nigerian football.

The event featured the presentation of kits and jerseys to participating teams, including and , as the sponsorship is expected to inject fresh momentum into the competition.
