The race for the 2027 Kwara State governorship election is gaining traction as three aspirants from Offa Local Government under the (APC) are set to formally declare their ambitions this week.
The aspirants—, , and —will unveil their gubernatorial bids on different days.
According to available information, Salako, who is the Global President of the Offa Descendants Union (ODU), will commence the series of declarations on Monday, April 20.
He will be followed by Senator Ashiru, currently representing Kwara South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, with his declaration scheduled for Thursday, April 23.
Prince Abdulmujib Adeola Olaniyi of the Olugbense Ruling House is expected to conclude the declarations on Friday, April 24.
The development signals increasing political activity within the APC as stakeholders begin to position ahead of the 2027 governorship contest in Kwara State.
