Stakeholders across the Kangu/Alasinrin/Esinrogunjo/Isale Jagun axis of Ilorin North West Constituency have unanimously endorsed Alasinrin Musbau as their preferred candidate for the Kwara State House of Assembly.

The endorsement, which took place on April 19, 2026, brought together a cross-section of youths, women leaders, and community elders, reflecting growing grassroots support for his aspiration.

Speakers at the gathering described Musbau as a leader with proven integrity, competence, and a longstanding commitment to community development and inclusive governance.

They highlighted his track record in youth empowerment, support for women-led initiatives, and advocacy for underserved groups, noting that his leadership style positions him as a unifying figure across the constituency.

“We have seen his impact over the years. He is not just a leader in words, but in action. Today, we stand united to support one of our own who understands our needs and is ready to serve,” a youth representative said.

Women leaders at the event expressed confidence in his ability to promote economic inclusion and social welfare, while elders commended his humility and respect for tradition.

Community representatives said the endorsement represents a collective call for purposeful leadership anchored on service, accountability, and sustainable development.

Observers say the development signals increasing momentum for Musbau’s candidacy as political activities ahead of the elections continue to gather pace.
