AbdulRazaq Congratulates Kwara Pupils on International Spelling Bee Success

Kwara State Governor, , has congratulated two pupils from , Yusuf Abdurrahman Oreoluwa and Yusuf Maryam, for their outstanding performance at an international Spelling Bee competition held in Harare, Zimbabwe.

The governor said the pupils, alongside Adeolu Oluwadamilola Oreofe from Ekiti State, represented Nigeria at the competition where the country secured a silver medal.

According to AbdulRazaq, the impressive performance of the pupils has also earned them qualification to represent Nigeria at a global competition scheduled to hold in China in the coming months.

“This is clearly something to celebrate, and I convey our congratulations to Oreoluwa and Maryam. I thank them for being good ambassadors of our state,” the governor said in a statement.

He noted that the achievement adds to the growing list of successes recorded by Kwara students in national and international academic competitions.

The governor also congratulated the parents of the pupils and the management of Ar-Raheem International College for what he described as a remarkable milestone in the lives of the children.

AbdulRazaq stated that the achievement reflects the impact of ongoing investments in quality and accessible education in the state, as well as collaboration between the government and education stakeholders.

“These feats align with our unrelenting investments in qualitative and accessible education, which is the foundation for any enduring civilisation,” he added.
