Student leaders from across Kwara South have declared support for Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi ahead of the APC senatorial primaries for the 2027 elections.
The endorsement came during the inaugural physical meeting of the Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Students Support Group held in Ilorin on Saturday.
The meeting attracted student union leaders from various tertiary institutions, including the , , and the .
Also present were executives of student bodies and associations, including the , Kwara axis, the Igbomina National Students Union, Kwara South Students Association, Offa Students Union, and Erin-Ile Students Association.
Participants at the gathering said the meeting was aimed at strengthening youth participation and building a unified student-driven structure to support socio-political development in Kwara South ahead of the 2027 elections.
They stressed the need for visionary leadership, unity, and collective engagement among youths in shaping the future of the senatorial district.
The convener of the support group said the platform would continue to mobilise student leaders and young people across the region in support of purposeful leadership and inclusive representation.
