Bola Ahmed Tinubu has formally obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2027 presidential election, signaling his bid for a second and final term in office.
The forms were picked up on his behalf by , who said the move followed sustained calls from various political support groups and stakeholders urging the president to seek re-election.
Faleke explained that hundreds of support groups under the platform of the jointly mobilised resources to purchase the forms as a demonstration of confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and ongoing reforms.
According to him, the initiative is aimed at galvanising nationwide support for the president to continue and consolidate what he described as measurable achievements recorded across critical sectors of the economy and governance.
He noted that the support groups remain committed to mobilising grassroots backing for Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general election.
The development comes amid growing political activities within the ruling party as preparations gradually intensify for the next electoral cycle.
