Deyemi Okanlawon, the Nollywood actor, says he has no problem becoming a “house husband” if his wife ends up earning more than him.
In an interview on Tea With Tay podcast, the film star explained that he would gladly step away from acting to focus on caring for his family should his wife become the primary breadwinner.
He expressed comfort with such a relationship dynamic, emphasising that his main priority is being “valuable” to his family, regardless of traditional gender roles.
Okanlawon also addressed the discomfort some men feel when women earn more, noting that it often leads to insecurity and oversensitivity.
