The MOK Foundation has distributed agricultural inputs to Fulani farmers across Kwara State as part of efforts to boost food production and support rural livelihoods.
The empowerment programme, held on Sunday at an open field behind the Old Police Station in Ajase-Ipo, Ifelodun Local Government Area, featured the distribution of fertilisers and other essential farm chemicals to beneficiaries from different farming communities across the state.

Speaking on behalf of the foundation’s founder, Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, a representative identified as Tunde said the intervention was purely humanitarian and not politically motivated.
According to him, the foundation remains committed to supporting vulnerable communities through interventions in education, healthcare, agriculture, and human development.
He added that the initiative was designed to reduce poverty and tackle some of the socio-economic conditions linked to insecurity in rural areas.

The programme attracted several Jowuros, leaders of Fulani settlements, from different parts of Kwara State, who commended the foundation for what they described as consistent support for their communities.
Some of the leaders noted that the foundation had previously supported Fulani women with financial assistance to establish small-scale businesses.
Among those who spoke at the event were Muhammad Bello, Jowuro of Omu-Aran, Alhaji Sulyman Aduagba of Ajase-Ipo, Alhaji Ibrahim Salaudeen of Isin, Alhaji Aliyu of Igbaja, and Adam Kilani of Oke-Ode.

The leaders praised the initiative for its inclusiveness and timely intervention, expressing optimism that the support would improve agricultural productivity and economic stability in their communities.
Muhammad Bello also urged members of the Fulani community to embrace western education, describing the foundation’s intervention as evidence of the importance of education and purposeful leadership.
