A philanthropist and community leader, Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, popularly known as MOK, has congratulated Muslims across Nigeria and beyond on the occasion of Eid-el-Adha celebration.

In a statement released to commemorate the festival, MOK extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful, expressing hope that the celebration would strengthen unity among families, friends and communities.

He described Eid-el-Adha as a period of reflection, sacrifice and solidarity, urging Nigerians to embrace peace, tolerance and coexistence.

“Eid al-Adha is a time for reflection, sacrifice and solidarity. I pray that this celebration brings peace to our homes, stability to our communities and hope for a better future for all,” he stated.

MOK also prayed for continued harmony, progress and development in Nigeria and across the Muslim world.

Eid-el-Adha, one of the major Islamic festivals, commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son in obedience to the command of Allah. The celebration is usually marked with prayers, animal sacrifice and acts of charity to the less privileged.
